james_kennedy9
and gave you the choice to live the life of any famous photographer, who would you choose. Capa? Nah, stepped on a land mine in vietnam. HCB? Maybe, he had a good life. Playboy staff photographer? Sounds pretty good to me.

My choice would be David Douglas Duncan. Born on Jan 23, 1916, and as far as I know, still alive. I have several of his books and what a great life. Marine during WW2, and Life magazine photographer afterwards. Iconic photos of the Korean War. Opened the world's eye to Nikon lenses, at a time when Leica was supreme.

rebecca_l
I wouldn't want to live someone else's life. It'd be like watching an 80-year-long movie (or however long) that I'd already seen. Why not just wish for something to improve the one you're already living and have invested in? Oh, who am I kidding, I'd just wish for a big pile of money to roll around in.

rick_drawbridge
I'd love to have the ability of two men, the first being the fabulous Ernst Hass, in my opinion the greatest maestro of light and movement that photography has known, who created images which shout "Photoshop!!", but before Photoshop....His photography of our natural world reigns supreme. The other would be the incredible Sam Haskins, for his amazing abilities as a printmaker in the '60's, his marvellous photography of women, (and just about everything else), and a creative output that exhausts me, just looking at it. I share a vision with these two men, but only a trace of their ability and a fraction of their achievements.

For those unfamiliar with their work, visit:
http://www.ernst-haas.com/
http://www.haskins.com/
