Very nice start of Wednesday, as usual. I LOVE Toledo (I have been there once), wonderful Aurora (I hope to catch it someday), nice macro shots Lil and Jeannean, and beautiful "twinkle, twinkle". Nicely done bike, Justin (HDR?)... Also, many thanks for mentioning mine last week, Luis.
This week's entry is from my weekend trip to Brooklyn Botanical Garden (more convenient for subway rider like me than The Bronx version, Joseph...). There were several candidates to post here, but I like this most. 84KB. Please advise if I can improve anyhow. Thank you!

00Uk2V-180249584.jpg.f2d4876aa2d8d2c8e5216217912a5bf2.jpg

Picture taken in germany at the nurnberg ring.
They built this nice rollercoaster that runs through a few buildings.
Looks great, but I think the safety commissions DIDN'T approve the design, so it's just a piece of art now, haha. Taken with the D90 + 18-200mm @ 18mm F4.8 1/90s iso 200.
Great pictures last week everybody, will try to comment on this weeks pictures later.

00Uk38-180257784.thumb.jpg.65ef5ab3a9cab3ae8b629968e7cb4b0a.jpg

My wife teaches 1st grade and she teaches them the stages of butterflies. I did several macro pictures of the stages for her bulletin board. Monday I caught this Monarch laying eggs. I knew they layed them on the bottom side of leaves but I had never seen this before. D3 70-300 5/6 nikkor 300mm manual focus f/14 1/100 ISO 400

00Uk3I-180259684.jpg.df3e455451b42b6ce8c1e15fb3521899.jpg

I went out looking for autumn colors, but soon realized that the vast majority of the trees in my area are still green. Then I noticed the lake, which doesn't often look this blue. A cool Sunday morning in Toronto CANADA, overlooking Lake Ontario.

Processed in PS Elements 2.0
File Size: 203 kB

Cheers,

00Uk3P-180261684.jpg.61c1d7f2fa61d952ab13a0e70f5ae340.jpg

Taken last fall, this is my second post, I hope you like the pumpkins. The contrast was slightly stretched.
