Many members will appreciate any information you are willing or able to provide regarding location, shooting process, exposure settings, equipment, and information on the subject(s), including scientific and/or common names. American White Pelican (Pelecanus erythrorhynchos). The yellow plate forms on the bill of breeding adults. Usually I wouldn't keep an image like this one, which crops out the tail and wingtip, but this particular image appeals to me as a reminder of the close quarters action of photographing these big birds at the BRMBR.
