How do I cancel my account

I would like to cancel my account. I sent this question to the contact photo.net page but received a message back to my e-mail stating that it had failed and could not be delivered which I found very strange and frustrating. I no longer want to be charged for further subscriptions. Do I need to contact my credit card and have them block photo.net from charging me again or will I receive a message asking me to purchase another term that I can decline future installments. I tried looking in the help forum and the most recent question was from 2012 which was very unhelpful. Thank you

austility?
whatever that is, my comment was meant to be humorous, not "austile".
The process, however, is exactly as I described it; but I confess I am reconsidering my personal experience with step 3.

they do however nag you endlessly ;-)

Charles, that wasn't my experience. I allowed my 10-year membership to lapse this year, deciding not to renew it until the site itself has been renewed. I received only one reminder about my membership having lapsed, and that was back in January. Maybe they just don't want me back. ;-)

We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!

Chad,
You joined photo.net in Feb. this year. According to your home page, you've posted 2 times, both on this thread. You have not asked for help, and you haven't given the community a chance to offer guidance. What are you finding difficult? Please, be specific, and you'll get answers that will help make your time here more enjoyable. We can see that you're frustrated, but you invested in yourself by becoming a paying member here. Rather than leaving angry, why not get your moneys worth, take a deep breath, and tell us what the problem is?

Fred, I was in the same situation as you, back in January. I did the opposite of what you did. I made a three year renewal, to show PN that the future PN2 will have to be made for present members also, and not only for some unidentified future new members.

PS - 1.) our current subscriptions don't auto renew and 2.) we send out 1 email as a reminder - I'd hardly classify that as nagging. Nagging infers repeated attempts - 1x does not qualify as repeated last I checked!
Anyone that wants a tour of 2.0 please DM me - we're getting positive results on load testing so we're getting closer.
