LOL Blagoy, ---excellent pose . !!!! Humorous irony??
-
--very nice, the polarized , crystalline water is as impressive as the heron!!!
-
-nice shot of the bird, Monty. Unfortunately, the background and feeder are distracting. Difficult subject with wingbeats at 70 per second. Art. flowers hung on the feeder can sometimes disguise it and result in a more natural shot?
-
----sitting in a lawn chair quietly, this dude paid no attention to
me amid a bed of zinnias. Cropping slightly resulted in almost
centering --but to off center would have required cropping of one
wing.!! Solution??
-
--nice shot, Igor, but the noonday sun washes out
the top part of his headdress?
-
----mixed architectural types?
-

-
--nice shot of a Hycianth Macaw!!
-
--I think the composition is OK; Like the triangular white sail against the very blue sky --the terminal lines ending at the point of interest ---Capt. Hans.!!
-
--reply to S.G. --the original photo was toplit, the flower being overexposed and washed out. In attempts in Photo Shop (actually Ulead) program color adjustments I was playing with effects to
get flower to it's true color. !! This is the results. Want me to post the original?

---attempt to salvage an underexposed female ruby-throated
hummingbird who petal walks while feeding.

---lovely ---, morning sun? Beaver dam?
-
-----very humorous, ---was she really scolding him?
-
--very good Cory---the out of focus foliage at the bottom add to the shot!! NIce composition,
great colors. Good pose!! Love the way the body blends in, ---only head gives unobstructed view.

Well done. !!! :-)

---male ruby-throat on a shaded perch in a bush. In order to get the
irridescent throat to shine, I used a fill flash. (Usually it is
black) Backlighting provided ample light in the shady bush.
-
--circular polarizer prevented the unwanted reflections?
-
---great shot, --nice composition, color saturation, etc. Train buffs would love these
old steamers?
-
--excellent Mark !!! Good timing, good exposure,
good composition. As a birdwatcher , this has special appeal ---two species in one shot!!
-
----the morning sun seemed to be escaping through the open gate!!
-
--an exquisite shot, Jim ---color, composition, --- !!!!
