  1. Hello If this is the wrong place please remove. I was wondering if anyone had a motor drive socket cap for the OM-1 that I could purchase. Mine is missing and just has a piece of tape covering the hole, I know it is not necessary but it would be nice to have. The camera was a yard sale pick up and other than that the camera is in good condition Thanks Don
  2. Hello All and thank you, and Dave thanks for the photos that helps. I will give it a try, Dave and Brett, how did you adjust the lugs. Thanks Don
  3. Hello I found the above camera at a yard sale for 20.00 and went ahead and bought it, I still have to go through the manual to learn the camera but had a question, the lens is a Schnieder Xenon 1.9 50 and when it is mounted there is a slight looseness. I don't know if this is normal or if it is worn. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Don
  4. Hope this is ok Here is the first shot with an SX-70 that I picked up at a yard sale, I received a pack of film directly from Polaroid. Not the greatest but hopefully I will get the hang of it. Mike if this is too new a camera just delete. Thanks Don
  5. Hello Here are a couple more these from the Brownie Six-16 using expired Delta 100 in HC110 B A bit under in the shadows which I expected Other than that pretty good for what it is. Thanks Don
  6. Hello A few from the Kodak Bullseye I found at a yardsale for five bucks, had to clean the lenses, which was very easy. I checked a couple of Youtubes and one used 400 film and the shots were over exposed so I tried Delta 100 and in the sunlight they came out pretty good but in the shade a bit under. I had to roll some 120 on a 126 spool which was easier than I thought but cramped up my hand a bit trying to keep everything tight. This was just a fun little experiment and the camera will probably sit on a shelf, or get sold at my yardsale? So here are a couple
  7. Thanks All I was planning to run some film through all of them and decide which to keep I appreciate the responses Don
  8. Hello All you Nikon fans I have, over the last couple of months, purchased some Nikon cameras and lens at yard/garage sales and was hoping you could give me some insight into the lenses, most came with the 50mm 1.4 which I would think is pretty much a standard for Nikon and a good lens, I did get a loose 28mm f2 lens and one of the cameras came with a 43-86 zoom with the text on the outside of the barrel. I read that this 43-86 is one of the ten worst Nikon lenses, but there are two different the later with the text on the outer lens barrel which is better, as I plan to get rid of of a couple of the cameras I was wondering if the 43-86 is worth keeping. I am planning to keep the 28 and probably one complete camera with a 50 Thanks Don BTW the cameras are two F's and one FE the two F's have the metered prisms one of which needs service.
  9. In case you missed it in a different thread this is from a Brownie Target Six-16 shot with 120 TMax 400 expired 2002, soft corners but pretty good in the center, size is 6X11. Thanks Don
  10. Hello Chuck That last one looks like you got it worked out and you are good to the edge on the sharpness. I do like the panorama format also Don
  11. Ok Here are the photos from the Kodak Six-16 using the adapters for a roll of 120, the film is TMax 400 developed in HC110b. All shots taken with the tab down so f/16 I am very happy with the results, the corners are soft as I expected but overall not bad. I may at some point make a mask to hold the film flat, I suspect this causes the soft corners but mat be the lens? but that would be a project for a later day as there are too many cameras waiting for a test run (been finding a lot of cameras at yard/garage/flea markets lately). Thanks for the help and for any criticism Don
  12. Hello Kmac Thanks for the link, "How did you space the frames ? 120 numbers are useless in a 616 camera" I used the frame numbers 3, 5-1/2, 8, 10-1/2, 13, 15-1/2, and got 6 shots spaced approx 1/4 inch that are 6X11 in size. The shots taken midday look good, on the neg, I haven't scanned them yet so don't know if the they are sharp edge to edge or??? as far as being overexposed they look ok I did take a couple in the evening that look under. I will post a couple when scanned. Don
  13. Hello Update: I ran a roll of 120 in the Target Six-16 with the "bay" adapters, I had to use a little sand paper on them to get the burrs off from the printing, I also had to bend the little 90 degree tabs so they would center but it did work but was a little hard to turn the knob, so I did a little more on the adapters and I have another roll in the camera and it works a lot better, you can even see the frame numbers. I haven't had a chance to develop the roll, which is TMax 400 expired in 2002, the roll in the camera now is Delta 100 from the same date. Since there is no way to use an ASA should I develop the film at the box speed time shown on MassDev? Thanks Don
  14. Hello Arthur, While I sometimes feel your portraits of people are under exposed I think the photo of the owners of the Vette is perfect and a great shot. Don
  15. Hello Bill Great photo, which mine is that, I live in Nevada City CA and there is the Empire Mine down the road from me, along with a bunch of others up here in gold country. Don

  17. "invoice (it even tells what my parents traded in and the trade-in allowance)- and yes, this car had tail fins" Didn't the 57 have the fins ?? Unless you are talking about the Impala?
  18. Hello All I have bought some of the adapters that Hunter referenced and will report back after I give them a try. It is a 616 camera NOT a 116. Thanks Don BTW If you have photos from a 616 or 620 box Kodak Box camera on 120 I would appreciate seeing them.
  19. Hello All I bought a Target six-16 and was wondering if the adapter for 120 were any good, see below. Thanks in advance Don Adapter - 616 to 120 Film Adapter

  22. Hello Update: I did purchase the FE with a Nikkor 50mm 1.4 lens, The camera is in excellent condition and he did put in batteries and the meter worked, I looked and confirmed, but when I got home and put fresh batteriesin it, LR44, (he kept his), I can't get it to work??? Any ideas, suggestions? Now I can't remember if it had a different lens on it at the time we checked because the Nikkor lens was loose. It was a private purchase at a yard sale so no warranty! Thanks Don
  23. Thank you I am going to look at them today and will make the choice based on condition and feel. Don
  24. Hello Just wondering which is "best" as far as reliability and which has best meter, etc. Thanks in advance. Don
