Rolleicord Art Deco???
Donald Harpold replied to Donald Harpold's topic in Classic Manual Film Cameras
Hello Chuck That looks like quite the project, I am impressed when I see people taking on such projects. I am afraid I would ruin something if I tried to do something like that. Don -
Rolleicord Art Deco???
Donald Harpold replied to Donald Harpold's topic in Classic Manual Film Cameras
Thanks David I did find the serial number inside the camera and it is 62014 I have posted some photos from the first roll in the Week for May 27 thread in this forum The came out under but better than expected and were usable so I am happy even with some of the leaks, which I may have contributed to bu using the counter window in the sun light rather that using the camera counter. Thanks again Don -

Hello again Here are some from a "new" Olympus Trip 35 test with Kentmere 100 in the new batch of D76 1-1 I used the Trip in auto mode and I am pleased with how they turned out, some soft but that was, as usual me. You will notice some recurring photos as my tests are usually around the yard. Thanks Don -

Rolleicord Art Deco???
Donald Harpold replied to Donald Harpold's topic in Classic Manual Film Cameras
Thanks kmac I have used that site before but long ago and I forgot about it. I did not know it was that old, for the age I am very surprised at its condition. It says film 120 is that possible? Thanks again Don -
Hello All I found a Rolleicord in very good leather case at a yard sale, 20 bucks, and the lens cleaned up nice and the speeds actually sound good. If there are any Rolleicord experts that can help me identify the model I would appreciate it. In Butkus the model looks the same as the Art Deco but doesn't have the Deco plates and there is no exposure table on the back and no button to secure the case behind the film knob on the focus side of camera. This one also has a 3.8 lens rather than the 4.5. I have attached photos so if you can help it would be appreciated. Thanks Don

Sekonic Micro Leader L98
Donald Harpold replied to Donald Harpold's topic in Classic Manual Film Cameras
I have several Goosen Luna Pro's, I have had a couple rebuilt that work great. I also have a Sekonic L408 and a L208 and a Reveni Labs spot meter and...... Well you get the point, like most of us I have all kinds of meters I just thought I would see if this one would work since it came with the camera. Thanks for all the comments Don -

Thanks All I do have a supply of 625's, the meter appears to be dead as the 625 does'nt work. It just seemed the reservoir for the battery was too big for the 625, that is why I asked It came with an excellent, (other than the shutter wont release, It is boxed up for shipment to Mark Hama) Yashica 635 so I just thought I would try. Just another old meter in the junk drawer. Thanks again all -
Hello Anyone know if this meter takes the 625, the manual just says 1.35 mercury doesn't give a model for the battery Thanks Don
-
Thanks Dave The battery is from a fresh blister pack. I will try to see if any of the others are the same or different Thanks Don

Hello All Found a yard sale K1000 in very good condition, minus one small bump, and I put a new LR44 and the battery cover sticks up just a little, is this normal with new batteries? The meter does work. Thanks Don

Film Camera Week for January 28

Hello Here are some from the "chrome" Nikon F with the metered prism, HP5 using HC110 b with 1 min agitation regime instead of 30sec as on the last one, not really sure if that helped or not. Note the meter underexposed quite a bit so some not really good only a few shots worth posting Don -

Hello Here are a few from the black Nikon F, HP5 using HC110b. Not happy with some of the grain, I think too much agitation?, have two more rolls to develop, one from chrome Nikon F with the 43-86 and add on meter finder and one from a Minolta SRT, I will try something different with those. -
Thanks KMAC I guess I may have to try getting into it Don
-
Thank you James I will check them out. Don

Hello All I was wondering if anyone had thoughts/comments on Advanced Camera in Portland. I have an FE that needs some service, the meter is not functioning, or is there another repair company that would be better. I had Complete Camera Center saved but they don't have any services listed any longer Thanks Don

Hello All I recently received a Kodak Duo Six-20 in relatively good condition with the exception that the shutter does not stay cocked, the shutter works as you can see it function. I wrote Chris Sherlock and he does not do these any longer. Is there some one who can repair the shutter and do a CLA that is reputable, and does not a years waiting list. Thanks Don Forgot to add it has the Compur-Rapid shutter

Hello Here are a couple from a recently serviced, by Mark Hama, Yashica A. The film is heavily expired TMax 400 developed in TMax 1-4 for 7:15 min. Some came out pretty grainy and others were pretty good. These were all shot at 400, I guess I should of shot at 200, next time! Thanks Don -

Film Camera Week for November 26
Donald Harpold replied to Mike Gammill's topic in Classic Manual Film Cameras
Hello Thought I would post some photos, been busy working around the homestead and doing garage/yard/estate sales. The camera is a Canon EOS500 that was given to me at a yard sale because we bought quite a few things, the film is 5222 in HC110 B The camera is not something I normally would use, to "automatic" and too many features, ie: the flash and messing with the settings. Playing around the yard and dad's shop, yes he knows where everything is believe it or not. -
Thanks Dave and ] Thought I would try here before the e-bay route Don
