    Overcast!

Very nice shot Laurent. There is so much character in these old, small country churches which is enhanced in this shot with the clouds.

    Eagle

    Nice shot, very majestic!
  5. It always amazes me when people think that they can ignore the warnings and then act surprised when they get hurt. After I did my hike a couple of weeks ago to the Adams Canyon Falls, I mentioned to my boss that I had gone up there. He told me that when he was younger he and some friends had gone up there where one of his friends tried to climb up the falls, only to slip and not survive. Very sad.

Beautiful shot! Great composition. I can almost smell the mountain air. If you don't mind me asking, where did you take this?
  15. In keeping with the water theme, here are a couple more shots from my hike the week before last. D3400
  16. I feel your pain. While I'm not in Virginia anymore, my wife still is while we're going through the process of selling the house. I've been hearing the rain stories pretty much every day. I'm just praying that the big tree in our front yard doesn't get get blown over with a strong gust of wind with the ground so wet and us being so close to closing on the house.

Very nice shot of a very powerful place. My wife and I were there last year right around this time of the year.

    Mirror Lake

Very nice shot Michelle. I really like the reflection off the lake along with the contrast of some fall colors, the trees that have already lost their leaves along with a little bit of green. Great composition!

    Sunrise

Thank you Andrew. Not really sure I'd want to be out there in the next few days. I don't think it's going to look anything like this.
  21. Interesting shot Andrew. I'm torn between this and the B&W versions, both bring out some different subtleties in the contrast between the softness of your model and the harshness of the desert. As always, good work!
