  1. The arrangement of eyes makes it seem that the two creatures are communicating: a remarkable moment to have captured. Great work, GG!
  2. Lovely image: does justice to the massive, simple style of architecture. Terrific lighting. Michael

    On line

This is a charming image, bound to bring many smiles. I love the way the “class” is lined up, and paying attention to their “instructor”. Personally, I would remove the penguin on the rock, and the one in the water, to increase attention on the main group. Well done! Michael.

    Foggy morning (3-9-19)

Very striking image, indeed. Great selective use of colour, and excellent composition.
  5. Beautifully composed. Gives a great impression of the strength and delicacy of the architecture of that period. I really enjoyed this series of images. Michael
  6. Intrinsicate1

I think that is much more effective! Michael

Black and white really suits this subject. Very sad to see the record of such a short life, and, now, even the girl’s memorial has collapsed. Perhaps, with this great picture, you have prolonged her memory. There is nothing much in the right side of the frame: did you consider cropping to portrait, rather than landscape, which would bring the tombstone into even greater prominence?
  8. That answers one question: thanks! It remains a very intriguing and much appreciated image.
  9. I meant to ask, in my previous comment, about the sub-title ‘double exposure’: does this refer simply to two naked women, or does it imply that one woman appears twice?
  10. This is such an intriguing image. I would love to know if it was staged, or candid. Either way, it poses many questions, all of which remain unanswered. It will not be an easy picture to forget, and I can image returning to it often. Thanks for posting it, Douglas!

Nicely composed and great use of colour!

    Now Showing

Now Showing: “Where the Rainbow Ends”, perhaps? Great picture, very atmospheric and mournful.

    Winter light!

Very beautiful - des seins enneiges, peut-etre?
  14. Fantastic, Giangiorgio! Great composition and focus and, as with so much of your work, perfect timing. Best wishes, Michael.

Very clever. I wonder what they saw?
  16. Jerry, that makes a huge difference!
  17. Great light and subtle colours: very nice photo. Personally, I would remove or crop all the wires in the foreground, which detract from the bucolic atmosphere. Lovely scene.
  18. Perfect! The flamingos hold their heads out just like sprinters, straining for that decisive extra inch. Wonderful picture, Giangorgio. Very jealous!
  19. Another terrific shot. Congratulations, Betty.

  21. Great composition and excellent selective colouring. Lovely, brooding image.

    Eye-catching image, beautifully executed. Bravo!
  23. There have been many great images from Death Valley, but this is one of the best. Terrific!
  24. This is truly beautiful. Congratulations on a memorable image.
