So beautiful and inspiring. The contrast between her soft flesh and the harsh rocks is quite startling. (I’m always impressed by the discomfort your models seem willing to endure in the pursuit of your art!). A real gem.
This is such a lovely, optimistic image, with the couple walking towards the light, I think it would be worth the time to remove the power lines on the right, and possibly remove footseps on the left, so only the two trails left by the couple remain. Great photograph!
These cold mornings, after I have thawed the nectar for the hummingbirds, and put warm water in the bird bath, I like to sit down with a slice of toast and marmalade and a cup of coffee, and scroll through this site, hoping to find, among all the banal pictures of food and pointless family albums, something of yours. Today, a double surprise! It is reassuring, when most of the world is stressing about covid-19 and politics, that you are still out there, posing lovely women for us to appreciate. Photo.net calls it self a place where photographers inspire eachother, which used to be quite true. Now, you are one of the few left delivering on that promise. Don't stop! Michael
Intense and provocative image, Philip. The closed eyes force you to imagine the women's thoughts. Like much of your work, this is something to return to and enjoy again and again. Michael
The bird flew into the house and hit a window. I wasn't sure if it was still alive, but I held it for half-an-hour and then it opened its eyes and shortly afterwards flew away.
Thanks indeed for the small novel, Philip. A compliment from you is valuable and greatly appreciated.
Looking at your recent postings, I am amazed how you manage to coax your models into such uncomfortable poses, on sharp rocks or rough logs!
