1. Thanks. Interesting. I dust my images pretty well during scanning so it's hard to believe it could be this. No reason... just laziness/not being careful.
 2. Hello All, It has come to my attention that all of my scans have white dots scattered across the negative after being scanned. Most visible is in images with a lot of sky –– then the sky is littered with these annoying white dots. I try to keep the camera pretty clean and have tried different high quality labs so I don't think it's a developing issue. The only things I can think of is that I switch the film from being in and out of the fridge every so often (too many temperature changes...??) and the flatbed epson v700 scanner I use is pretty old. Has anyone else experienced this issue? It is costing me a lot of extra editing time. Thanks for your help! I have attached an example detail and increased the contrast so you can see how bad of an issue this is...
 3.
Hi there,
I know there are a lot of threads on this scanner but I still haven't been able to find any answers.
I have the Epson v700 and my 120 film scans are coming out incredibly soft. (Included a photo) I have the epson negative holders and I've tried adjusting the height with post it notes, business cards, but nothing seems to help the focus. I scan at quite a high resolution as well.
Does this seem like an issue that would be fixed with the better scanning holders or is it possibly a bigger problem with the scanner itself?

http://tinypic.com/r/28rilo7/9

 4. Hello all, I have a show coming up and I have a strange idea of placing an image inside a fishbowl and filling it with water/faux water (so the image would be glued or adhered to the inside. Does anyone have any suggestions for a waterproof paper/sticker I could print on? I love pictorico but I'm not sure they make a waterproof sticker type of paper. Or perhaps I could transfer the image to the fishbowl? Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks Fiona
