1.
Allen, I very much doubt that every pro has the same consideration for what they want out of a camera. Like I said earlier, if the US military decides they want toughness over autofocus speed, who are you to tell them otherwise? The consideration of one is not the consideration of all.
There are some who prefer sharpness and color rendition over speed, and a large format camera will blow ANY digital camera out of the water in those department- Just talk to the folks in the large format thread. If Ansel Adams could feed his family with his large format landscapes I have no doubt others could, too
Not to be rude just a consideration :)

 2.
An interesting note [a bit of a tangent too!], the American Army uses Pentax cameras, or at least the Marines do

 3.
I wouldn't trust the general populace with slide film [too temperamental for most people!] but it looks like you got some pretty good shots. This is definitely an idea for when I get married...

 4.
Wow! I'll check up with Mark Hama to see how much a CLA would cost, I've got other cameras to shoot in the meanwhile.

 5.
I've had this issue on a few frames of the several rolls I've shot on this camera- the top or the bottom of the frame is significantly lighter than the rest of the image. The camera is a Yashica-Mat [the original, not the 124g]
Here's a link to see link
Any ideas on what this could be? I'm guessing a shutter issue but I'm not experienced with leaf shutters

 6.
And you haven't tried deleting your cookies yet?

 7.
Looks like it could be a large format lens, and possibly a collector's item
here is an article of sorts I found on it

 8.
I agree with William, if it were caused by the site you bet there would be a fuss about it- adware/malware doesn't just target one person

 9.
That's adware, your computer is infected, just not by a virus [fairly sure that means that Norton's can't fix that]

 10.
Let me know if you decide to sell it, I'd love to buy it off of you, regardless of the fungus!

 11.
It's an older model summilux 50mm f/1.4 from 1969, the helicoil separated from the lens mount. I've got an estimate of $100 from both, whereas Leica USA stated a $300 asking price. I'll probably be going with Youxin at this point, as it's the only lens I have for my Leica and I'd like to get it fixed ASAP

 12.
Is either DAG or Youxin preferable to another? I've heard DAG takes forever but does VERY good work, whereas I have not heard much about Youxin's lens repairing abilities. At this point I'm thinking Youxin over DAG due to his turnaround estimate of 3-4 weeks, as they charge about the same
