its ruined by the blues, from Post processing, in the foliage.

 

Pity, because its a great motiff! (Motiff, is that the right word in English?)

I say "Ruined", because it really is a good shot.

Wonderful shot, John. Before I saw the other comment, I had the same observation - that the foliage has that digital over-baked look. The blues in the folliage stand out, but without a size or detail that provide a context as to why they should. The rest of the foliage, mostly the orange. looks only slightly oversaturated.

This comment is only on details of what is a fabulous shot. Your landscape/travel shots are reliably excellent.

Thanks Tom & Doug for your critique. It was a grey day where colours are washed out so I increased the saturation levels.Obviously too much as blue dots have appeared as you both have advised.Thanks for pointing this out as I will watch out in future.  Regards John
