  1. Absolutely correct. Over time the human cortical brain region have the tendency to shrink, so a hands-free stiffie is a good strategy. Ok, here is my version. This could be my version of warning about gravity of the cancel culture as way to channel a catharsis of everyday life. This could be a monitor settings issue, I see the only the candles' lights are blown out. Cheers.
  2. No specific message, just still life. Yes, the two of them are not enough to ignore, and the ironing was not an option. No hidden message, just abstract construction.
  3. Thank you for your thoughts.
  4. Thank you inoneeye. I prefer ice hockey or ice skating. . Thank you Ricochetrider. I can't say this about all my photos. More often I can't control my surrounding during my photo walks. Do you mind to elaborate? Good point. This is the more common way to present the treachery of words. I didn't want to limit my interests to above mentioned streams. I should of say that I greatly enjoy all avant-garde movements of the beginning of the 20th century. Cheers.
  5. Thank you inoneeye. Did you mean to explore this photo?
  6. You, probably, can't call this a pun. I was trying to play around the notion that words are not the objects. Some genre of photography have very limited tools, in compare to painting, to tell the story. That why, Sam, you can look on this as a minimalistic phrase. Cheers. Absolutely, You can look on this as you want. Cheers Yes, many saw these movements of the beginning of 20th century as you described. Cheers
  7. I know, I have to pay more attention to PP. I agree, Michael, this looks much better.
  8. Thank you for response. It's not easy to strike the balance between of hints of ideas and leaving the space for viewers. This photo is about the treachery of words. I should point out that the abstract art and surrealism are my favorite streams of fine art, so I try to move my photography in the similar directions. Cheers.
  9. Thank you for your thoughts.
  10. Excellent idea. Clothes and shoes designers should chase the every picturesnapping human in the world. p.s.: here is the very interesting turn How NFTs are fueling a digital art boom
  11. Any object in the art work has two aspects - the form and meaning. For the different genre these aspects bear different degree of potential "derivativeness".For instance, in surrealism the form has the highest degree of potential "derivativeness" - it's very personal to author, whereas the meaning is relatively banal (ask any psychoanalysts.) Because of that, I believe, it will be more productive to mention specific genre before presenting the own arguments so we'll avoid comparison apples to oranges. I also should mention that this potential "property" is not static and changes over time for given object, especially for famous one.
  12. I wonder, how should we consider the close up photograph of misted rose?
  13. From point of view of media - black and white paper - AA did a lot of manipulation in the dark room and, at the lower degree, during the film exposure. For the viewer's point of view - I would call this the preservation.
  14. Thank you paddler4, michaellinder, Dieter, terrykelly, samstevens, inoneeye. Yes, in some situation the black hole is the "lowest point" (from the point of view of light), so if follow to message on the wall the coming change must be the only brightening. Cheers

  17. Thank you wonner for your feedback. I think the framed contents is too skim, that why I included external elements. Cheers.
  18. Does it jam without lens? If you woble the lens will it un- jam? Can you try another lens?
  19. I wonder if anybody did calculate percentage of the famous artists that did not "create" buy-able art/style in the beginning of their career. Cheers.
  20. I like ## 2, 6, 8. They remind me the works of supermatists. Cheers.
  21. Thank you Ricochetrider for your feedback. I understand that mentioning such name as Warhol along with image of canned soup does immediately assign significant portion of meaning of my photo to the Warhol's interpretation of his painting, but that was not my intention. I'm talking about abstract idea - significance of the consumed information. The can is the entry point in pair with the cell phones structure are leading lines to the meaning of my photo. I did not try to convey Warhol's idea of HIS cans. I used the can as one of the of the possible object that may be of synonym of consumerism. Cheers.
  22. Thank you inoneeye. Yes, make this as 3D installation on pedestal and cycle some video will bear much more weight and will represent another genre of the art. Cheers.
