  1. Great tonal range as well. The crop is to vertical and I think that cropping down to where the roof support nearest to the camera meets the wall would remove some dead space. Dead space also on the left which could have been avoided by moving to your right a little. Thanks, Rick
  2. The horizon is centred, always better to go for a top or bottom third line. The outcrop is interesting in texture but it's taking up too much or too little of the frame (thirds again!). Maybe a higher viewpoint was impossible but a lower one with a shorter lens could have put it down in the bottom RH corner. Midday light is against you too - it look as if it might be more interesting later on. Finally I think you need a polariser for that sky, or an grad ND if you decided to go BW. Thanks, Rick

    Lone cab

The most photographed place in the world. Does this bring anything new? I did wait a long time for there to be just the one cab in the right lane

    Oxford II

I have a lesser cropped version of this where more water and tress are visible, but I sort of like this

    New Horizons

Lower sightline to align horizon with end of jetty. I would have distortedthis in PS to make the top of the handrails equal height. Good midtones with full tonal range Except no 100% whie (see histo) Nice choice of shutter speed, thanks, Rick. PS, lovely lens !!!

    50 shades of grey

If found all these greys within 500 metres of where I live and suddenly realised that there is beauty and harmony in those things we see every day in our 'grey' world.

    A Shoreham big tide

I imagine there is a bit of HDR going on here? It may be a trick of the composition but the horizon looks ever so slghtly tilted CW. Also, although the position of the slab is perfect the marker pole is a little central for my tastes. I you can't open out any more (and you can't as you are at 24mm already) then moving back would have given you more sky (to drop the horizon below the midway point) and add a little more to the left to put the marker pole nearer a third, probably using a slightly more panoramic crop. It is a lovely photo though. Thanks, Rick
  16. Lots of pics of this bridge. How cuold I have done better? Thanks
