  6. <p>OK. I agree, a dedicated foot is a more elegant solution. I just thought it was meant that AS plates <em>couldn't</em> be used, when I knew there were AS and Wimberly non-twist plates available. Thanks for the clarification.</p>

  9. <p>If you want precise depth of field, I suggest a DOF calculator. I have one on my iPhone I downloaded for free from the Apple app store.</p>
  10. <p>Along these same lines, if you're holding down the shutter button for burst mode, do you need to continue to hold down the AF-ON button to focus track, or can you let it go? I continue to hold it down, but I'm not sure if that's necessary or not.</p>
