1.
I have heard it said that OM-D bodies will automatically switch off the IS on Lumix lenses. I've been searching for confirmation of this with conflicting results. Can anyone confirm or refute this? Does the lens IS need to be switched off, or does the camera automatically do it? I have two Lumix lenses with Mega O.I.S. but with no switch to turn it off, and I can't tell if it's being switched off or not.

 4.
Thanks for all the responses. Glad to know I don't need to spend a lot of money on this.

 5.
I've just bought an Olympus E-M5 (they're going cheap now that the Mark II is out) and would like to use my old Canon FD lenses with it. There are several to choose from. Can you give me your opinions on which ones you would recommend?

 8.
I tried it again with a battery down to about 25% and it worked fine. I suppose it was gremlins. Anyway, I as just wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar.

 9.
I thought it was so strange I didn't even think of doing that. But I will try it again when the battery drains back down.

 10.
I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this strange problem. I was doing micro focus adjustment on my 7D Mark II and 70-200 f/4L lens. As the procedure progressed, the adjustment kept getting worse and worse, until I was dialing in +20 and it still wasn't happy. I know this is one of my sharpest lenses and I thought something must be wrong. I cleaned the contacts, checked to make sure IS was off, but nothing helped. I started going through the menus to see if there was anything strange there. I noticed the battery power was down to about 30%. Since I was grasping at straws at this point, I went ahead and put in a freshly charged battery. Bingo! The lens only required a modest adjustment after that. Weird!
