I like this a lot - it has all the right elements. I like the framing, and the shutter value is just right. Is it 1/8th? That seems to be what most people think is the right amt for water cascading like this.
Nice!

Thank you Henry. I almost never get feedback so I do appreciate yours. Bob.

Toured the botanical gardens on Maui and came across these
interesting plants - which the bees found tasty. Got several
inflight shots, but I found this one the most interesting, because I
haven't seen a bee shot where we saw him inflight from behind.
Comments?

This is a pretty neat shot. I wish it was a bit sharper, and I would definitely crop out that half a person on the right side.

I'd like to see this without the ankle bracelet, and with the handle/first part of the whip laying over her right ankle... Sort of like the snake slithering over her body.
Agree the whip shouldn't touch the edge of the frame.
As usual, Amy is quite beautiful.

Amy:
I just want to say I love your pictures. They are beautiful and it goes without saying that you are too.
When I first realized these were you in the shots, and you say they are self portraits, I'm thinking "she sure gets over there quickly and composes herself!"
But now I'm thinking perhaps you use a wireless remote?

You'll get no derogatory remarks from me about eliminating confusing elements (especially small ones) in PS.
I think it is a great photo and the lighting is unreal.

This is a nice image but the one branch running at a diagonal, forming a triangle with the upper left corner, really throws it off for me.
Is there a chance that getting more to your right or something you can get that out of the shot? (or, it looks dead, break it off!).
Bob.

I like the composition but I would crop more. Too much black on the left and top sides.
I would play with it in PS to increase the saturation/color, to make it more interesting.

I'll agree with the other guys on foot growing out of head. But no one said anything about the forehead and forearm having no detail. These are blown out - I have a very good monitor set for milliions of colors, so I think I'd see the detail if it was there.
I find the brightness of her arms, and the fact that they are coming together out of frame, distracting.
I played around with it in PS for 10 mins on my lunch hour. Above is my version. I'm not skilled enough yet to try to clone some skin tones back into the blown out parts.

I love the crop, just showing 2/3 of the flower. I hadn't thought to do that. I like the detail, really everything about it. On my screen (anyway) I wouldn't say the highlights are blown.
Excellent.
Fall colors - my version

I thought this was a nice simple representation of many aspects of
the Fall season and its colors. What do you think of it?
