nature photography Forest Path.

I think its a great shot, and would make a great background.. However I already have a waterfall from Hawaii there... Anyway, congrats on the shot, and I hope things calm down a little over there so you can go to the forest.

A soothing image...?

 

I like the colors and texture of the tree (see large format picture),

as well as the light on the forrest floor.

 

The path adds tension to the composition, as does the slightly blue

background.

This is the kind of picture my Kodak digital camera seems absolutely unwilling to take. Now you have forced me to admit that either my camera or my eye have a problem. Since I can see the beauty in your image, I will put the blame on the camera. I do this despite my father's advice that a true craftsman never blames his tools. I freely rescind any claim I ever made to being a craftsman in the arena of artistic photon capture.

This is a nice image but the one branch running at a diagonal, forming a triangle with the upper left corner, really throws it off for me.

 

Is there a chance that getting more to your right or something you can get that out of the shot? (or, it looks dead, break it off!).
