1.
Am looking for a Portfolio Site that supports image resizing dependant on PC resolution out of the box. So the image will be proportionally the same on a screen of any resolution.
This website does it for example. I would like a portfolio website that will allow me create a website with such functionality
www.markpower.co.uk
If the site was easy to use that would be great also

 2.
I have had a Fuji 645 Professional for many years now. I recently purchased a Fuji 645zi as I wanted a second camera and the zoom. I have had problems with the film advance though. I load the film same way as the 645, film advanced to the spot that it says on the back matching the point on the back of the camera. However when you close the back it doesn't auto advance the film. I then have to fiddle with it but auto advancing the film myself, it does then eventually auto-advance, but I have lost at least four frames per roll and often get light leaks. Can anyone advise ?

 3.
Hi I have shot 35mm for many years but due to the desire to print larger I changed to 645 format.
I am based in UK and used Genie Imaging, and the files were scanned at 2696 x 2000 and are roughly 2Mb in size. Is this what I should be looking at in terms of the scan ?
The file sizes in terms of pixels and size is not much bigger than my 35mm. Also in comparsion to my 35mm scans, the 645 doesn't seem much of an improvement at larger prints.
I looked at peak imaging that scan to 38 Meg when opened. However you are looking at £30 per roll.
I would like to avoid home scanning if possible. Can anyone recommend another company ?

 4.
I don't think its the lens as, when I change lens it still there. So basically it will have no real impact on my images, that a massive relief I was going to go to the second hand shop in town and see if they had any canon slrs. Thats a massive relief thanks

 5.
About to go on holiday and I have found a black spot on my viewfinder in the black right hand corner of my eos 300 film camera. I don't use digital and am slightly worried about shooting a lot of film and then discovering the pictures all have black dots. Can anyone help ?

 6.
I was reading that William Eggleston made a number of larger prints of many of the orginial photographs that made him famous, 40 by 66 inches instead of the original format of 16 by 20 inches. My understanding was that Eggleston was mostly a lecia/canon shooter. How is this possible from 35mm , my understanding is that 16x20 was the limit for 35mm to get a reasonable looking print, or where these prints shot in medium format ?

 7. Hello I am due for an upgrade on my phone. One of the things I love about my camera phone is the squarer dimensions pictures of the phone as compared to my SLR. I have an HTC titan the resolution of the files are 3264 x2448 pixel. I want to retain that aspect ratio on my next phone. Do all camera phone shoot with the same aspect ratio. I am looking at the Sony Xperia T will this have the same aspect ratio ? The spec on the web says it 4128x3096 pixels ? Is this the same aspect ratio ?
 8.
Hi have been using Neat Image to take noise out of my image. It has certainly worked, reducing the noise element of the picture. However the file size has been reduced dramtically, from 7MB to approximately 700 KB. I have checked the resolution in photoshop and it is the same. Is such a file size reduction ok ? Or should I check something else I have been checking. I concerned that the program may have “thrown away” detail from the file that will prevent me from printing the file large at a later date.

 9.
One of the things that frustrate me with my street photography at the moment is how to get great colors in my photographs in incredibly dull weather. I will often take a photograph where I catch the moment and love the composition, but just hate how dull it looks. Post processing only seems to make the photograph look horribly digitally altered. It’s got to the point where I just haven’t shot for months now just looking out the window in the vain hope of some decent weather.
Often I have been told that photography is about great light, so maybe I should just expect this to be the case, but then I see photographers like the guy below (see image 4) with the colors I am looking for seeming taken in dull weather . What am I doing wrong ?

 10.
I have been shooting 35mm for a number of years and am generally happy with it, choice of film, cameras etc. However I am starting to print beyond A3 size, now A2 and the prints don’t look as good. Should I be looking at medium format for A2, or getting the scans, scanned by a more advanced scanner,(I use the local lab) ?
