Also, it is available for Sony E-mount camera by an extra adapter. It is optimized for working on full aperture with the great sharpness and contrast as on smaller apertures by Sonnar formula and high refractive optical glasses (greater than 1.9). 2. I would say, No. Don't sell any lens. Use what you have. The CV 21/4 is a wonderful lens.
 3. Brain: Keep us informed of the lens creation, Brian. Such custom lenses can be very interesting for use. Greg: Nobody makes a better adapter than Amedeo. Your Sonnar lenses will perform beautifully on the M.

 7. I may have such a 50/2.9 lens in Exakta mount. I like the Cintar a lot for B&W photography.
 8. Both lenses were/are great lenses. There exist other excellent 50mm lenses, such as the 50/1.5 for the Voigtlaender Prominent. I use it with an adapter on my M9. Yesterday, I was using a custom adapted Schneider 50/2.8 (Thank you, Brian) on my M8. In the end, it is really a matter of using such lenses.
 9. You have many options here. I went cheap, and I use the old models Olympus E-P2 and E-PL1. The newer models are most likely even better. My E-PL1 was $150 for brand new with warranty/. I switch on days between using the M 4/3 cameras and my two Leica digital cameras.
 10.
What a beautiful camera! Check it out online.

 11.
If price is not necessarily below $1500, the Nikkor 35mm/1.8 ltm is a fine performer.
Most likely, for the money, the CV lenses cannot be beaten in value overall.

 12.
Yes, you are correct, Bob. Number of remaining images is all I need to know here.

 13.
An option is to use a zoom by some other brand and use an adapter. For example, a Tamron 35-80/2.8 SP is a super sharp zoom, and the crop on the M 4/3 will show you a 70-160 perspective. This is a quite inexpensive option. I have used an Angenieux 70-210 zoom on my E-P2 with excellent results that are very sharp and beautiful.

 14.
David: I am looking for some indicator that tells me as I am taking photos whether I have little space left for additional images or a lot so that I can quickly change the card in the middle of a shoot.
Brian: This may be what Olympus is offering to use. I may have to go by the number of images taken.
Thanks to both of you.

I am used to Leica cameras showing me the capacity of the cards.

 15.
I like the 25mm/1.4 Summilux lens.

 16.
Which function on the E-P2 or the E-PL1 lets me check how much space is left on the memory card?
Thanks.

Raid

 17.
The 50/1.2L and the 85/1.2L are the modern aspherical versions for the aspherical older lenses.

 18.
Sharpness is just one factor that influences my choice of lenses for photography. I have been using the (old) Rigid Summicron 50/2 for many years, and I like the resulting images from this lens. The (very old) Zeiss Sonnar 50/1.5 is equally beautiful, and with a different look. Again, it is not just sharpness by itself that is the main factor for me.In the end, it is the photography that makes the difference and not the specific choice of 50mm lens based on sharpness. I know that Leica lenses are designed from the strat to be used wide open almost always. The top Leica optics designer told us this fact last summer in Wetzlar.

 19.
I think that tenba used to make special lens bags. I carry the 500/4.5 inits metal case to keep the lens safe, but I switch over to the lens bag when I arrive at the target destination.

 20.
I own a 19/3.5 non-retro design lens. It is one of my favorite wide angle lenses.
