What a unique way to catch a reflection.

Thank you for the generous compliments. I checked your work and can feel your excitement for photography. It is a wonderful hobby and your photos are beautiful. Take care, Deanna

The color of the river indicates recent rain and most of the southwest area that we visited, including the desert-like area near Bryce and Zion, had more green than expected. Not sure if we were in the rainy season or if it was an unusually wet summer. A few days after going through parts of Colorado on the train parts of that track were closed due to flooding and flash flooding closed the main road in Zion. The up side of it is we were there just before that happened and it was not excessively hot like the travel info. indicates. Who knows, we might just run into you on one of the trails some year. Take care, Deanna

Thank you for noticing this one. It was a magical place and worth the hike. Take care Deanna

Everything to like here. Beautiful

They say this area gets only close to 15 inches of rain a year but this
rock has water constantly weeping over it causing plants and flowers
to grow from the rock.

It wanted to rain but gave me one last glimpse of sunlight first

Thank you for the suggestion. This was a new lens purchased for our southwest trip because I only wanted to carry one. Now we will have to go back to re-shoot. Our time there was too short. Take care, Deanna

Thanks for looking and commenting. With so much rugged beauty it is sometimes hard to know where to aim. Take care, Deanna

Thanks for the cropping suggestion. That would put more emphasis on the river. No matter how hard we try to capture nature the best we get is a fond memory of it. Take care, Deanna

Thank you.

Thanks for taking time to critique this one. I did a level adjustment and decided to straighten the horizon and leave the mountains alone. Take care, Deanna

Thank you for identifying this flower. I remembered it is being used for medicines but not the name. It stood out against the ruggedness in Zion park.

Feels like I could step into the picture onto the sidewalk. So realistic.

So calm and relaxing. Wonderful work Tony. Thank you for sharing

Beautiful image and so nice to have it inside your home.

Critiques are appreciated.

A rainy day made it easier to shoot this beautiful flower. Enlarge for
detail and please comment. Thanks for looking.

While in Las Vegas I decided to take my camera for only about two
hours with one lens and no tripod. Not expecting to capture good
night shots this one surprised me. Your comments are appreciated.

We were on a tour and that is not a photographers ideal situation. It rained every day of our 9 day trip and with only an hour in Bryce Canyon had to use the lighting in that time span. We did a one mile hike and that is where these pics came from. Would love to go back and spend several days for hiking and changes in sunlight. Go there when you can. Even without a camera it is a magical place. Take care, Deanna

I enjoy your abstracts just as much as your wonderful landscapes. The glowing colors on this one call for a closer look. Beautiful. The only change that I suggest is to not crop the top so close. That gives me the impression that something is missing. Not that it isn't fascinating just as it is. Thanks for sharing. Deanna

Daddy said "Her Mom wouldn't like this." Baby said "here I come."
(In her own baby language) Fun!

Very well done. Can almost hear the crunch of the leaves. Take care, Deanna
