  1. Retina IIa, Lomo Potsdam 100 developed in Ilfosol 3. The camera has had a chequered history, having had its shutter dismantled and re-assembled three times to get it to the point where it fires on all speeds except one second and one half a second, which hang open. After three goes, I thought 'that's enough'. Happy new year, rangefinders. Regards, Arthur.
  2. Three images taken using a retina IIa and lomo potsdam 100 developed in Ilfosol III (I'd got the camera - unworking - from an antique store while on holiday; following three attempts at dismantling and re-assembling its shutter, it now fires on all speeds except 1 sec and one half a sec, which hang open). Regards, Arthur.
  3. MarcelRomviel, could you let me know your development details for the Lady Grey film? It would be appreciated. Regards, Arthur.
  4. Almost a life ago now, two friends joined me for a pre-christmas lunch. Same old, same old, monochrom but with a 50mm 7Artisans lens. Regards, Arthur.
  5. In the spirit of the season. One image of the 'cook' at the men's breakfast I go to monthly (yes, Virginia, such things do exist and there is a santa) trying to emulate santa. I suspect I managed to acquire covid there, and have been confined to my room the last few days. The second of the 'band' at a local 'carols in the park'. Same old, same old: monochrom and 75mm lens. Regards, and best wishes for the season, Arthur.
  6. Hi Allen, good to hear from you. Not to different places: same old, same old. But yes, recently started using it after going back to the voigtlander for a while. We have been beset with an early summer heatwave, which has required taking refuge in air conditioned premises (ie., loitering in the local supermarket mall), so not much opportunity to enjoy photography. Have a safe and joyous Christmas, you and your family. By the way, was your image sunrise or sunset? ('swiftly go the years'). Regards, Arthur.
  7. Images from a recent amateur theatrical group's performance of 'A Dickens of a Mystery'. All with a monochrom, and new go-to 75mm lens. Regards, Arthur.
  8. 'Old friends are the best friends'. I was visited last week by two for lunch. Like Brigadoon, they emerged from the mists of time, to thence return. Same routine, monochrom and go to lens. If I don't get a chance, to all site users, I wish you a safe and joyous Christmas. Regards, Arthur.
  9. I like that second image, viktor_gruber. Quite ethereal.
  10. Thanks Karim. I'm guessing that the only film camera leica makes now is its re-issue of the M6. Am I wrong? Regards, Arthur.
  11. The last of images from my selfix 620. This week trying out a yashica mat, following repairing its winding mechanism. mjferron, are your walking aids commercially available yet?
  12. A couple of images of people who attend a Saturday afternoon film group I attend. Usual story, monochrom, 75mm lens, etc.
  13. The last two images from my prominent taken a few weeks ago. HP5 in Ilfosol 3. A paean to needing to check the temperature in time and temperature processing; also, the focus. regards, Arthur.
  14. Out to dinner and a patron at another table enjoying her birthday. Monochrom and go to lens. Regards, Arthur.
