1.
Raymond - he said he's hoping to be able to start work on his backlog in January. I would check with him directly if he's willing to accept more work right away or whether he wants to focus on the backlog first.

Not many Konica experts left these days, especially ones who can work on Hexars.

 2.
Update - I managed to get through to Greg. He's been injured. Hopefully he will be on the mend soon.

 3.
Hi everyone - has anyone been in touch with Greg Weber of WeberCamera recently? I'd sent him some of my Konica gear in September and haven't heard from him since. I tried calling but got voicemail the first time, and now the mailbox is full.

Thanks,

Kayam

 4.
Thanks everyone!

Wouter - you'd also responded to a different thread about Fuji dealers in Florence - thanks so much! I ended up going to Bongi.

 5.
Hello all,

Apologies if this is a relatively basic question.

I shot a bunch of photographs recently on vacation, and had my camera (Fuji XE1) film simulation set to "Velvia" (I was shooting Raw + JPEG). When I imported the images into LR (5.7) it appears to create preview based on the JPEG, but then renders the RAW using a LR default. In almost every instance the RAW is flat. Is there any way to have LR render the RAW keeping the JPEG settings, or do I need to find a Develop preset for that?
Thanks,
Kayam

 6. Hello all, Does anyone have any recommendations for a photography store in florence? The batteries for my Fuji XE1 are dying out at an alarming rate and I neglected to bring my charger along. I have a film camera with me but it'd be a shame not to use my beautiful Fujinon lenses as much as possible. Kayam
 7.
Louis - the moment I saw Dog Leaping I thought of HCB's Man Leaping Over a Puddle. Dog's make better subjects than people though.

 8. It's worth it to keep at least one Fuji X mount lens handy - the autofocus can be useful. I say this as someone with an extensive collection of manual focus lenses including FD. That said have you considered the 35 1.4? Magnificent lens.
