Karim - thank you that’s very kind. I debated including the pedestal and ultimately decided to leave it in as I thought the points of the star emphasized the rotation of the Statue. However I do see that I is at the same time a distracting element. Thanks for the very constructive feedback.

I am stunned at the price of a K1000. I just checked on eBay and a K1000 with 50mm 2.0 has a BIN of $238. A Canon A1 with 50 1.8 is only $258.
