Beautiful capture of the cat's expression. Have you thought about changing it to black and white? I think, it would make the green item in the background less noticeable. Thank you for sharing, Gail Geary

Ooops! Got my right/left mixed up again. I like the fun expression of the girl on the RIGHT side of the photo. (You probably knew what I meant..)

Steve, the model has the final say in my book (when the models are our school age children (grandchildren in my case). She will look at this when she is all grown up and say "This was my favorite dress! I am so glad I have a picture of me in it." I can relate- I am a senior citizen and love the old school pictures specifically because I always wore a favorite outfit.
  5. Hi, It is not easy to balance a shot when we are not in control of the subject we are shooting. Will you resubmit the revised picture? I would love to see it. If you can't make the adjustment, it is still a good shot. Gail
  6. Hello Michael, Very nice composition and I like the reflection of the trees in the water. I think it is a bit overexposed which makes the colors look washed out. If you have an opportunity to retake the shot, try it with several different exposures to see the difference and if it improves your shot. Thank you for sharing, Gail Geary

Lovely! I like it just the way it is except for I am not sure, for me, I like the "linen" paper effect. ..maybe a personal choice for you. Regardless, love the composition, the close crop of the face, the girls hands on the bars, her expression... it all works! Gail Geary

Hi Michael, I appreciate the light and shadows in this B&W shot. If you are looking for constructive criticism, I think it might be slightly improved by cropping out the light box (?) etc on the left side of the frame. Very nice mood capture. Thanks for sharing, Gail Geary

This is a great shot, for me. Nicely positioned ladies and I love the look of fun on the face of the girl on the left side of the photo.

Nice front and back lighting. Such a serene cat. It is just a lovely shot.

    Toronado XS!

Hello, your photo brought a smile to my face today but, probably not in a way that you might expect. First of all, very interesting car, thank you for sharing the photo and the info on it. I have never seen this model before. The way the back of the car is parked- with the trunk way over the barrier reminded me of so many people where I live. In my town, they tend to park the front of their cars WAY over the barrier and they block the side walk so that pedestrians cannot use the sidewalk. It made me smile to see this 'parking' version and reminds me that we are all so similar!

Beautiful portrait. How lovely... beautiful skin tone, catch light in the eyes, nice exposure... very pretty girl. For me, the lighter part at the bottom of her outfit distracts my eye and draws it to that area. Perhaps you wanted it though, to add dimension? I would LOVE to see this photo cropped closer even though the background DOF is nice and soft.
  13. I really like this picture. There is much to see and view with a lot repeated images and letters/words (Bora) which gives that special something extra to the picture. The only thing I would like to see: I like the back of the bicyclist on the left side of the photo and a similar image on the right hand side of the photo would balance it better than the legs and hand (?) on the right side of the frame, for me. Regardless, very nice!!

This beach has a beautiful sunset in the fall months.
  18. Thanks for taking the time to view and critique, John. I appreciate it very much.
  19. The middle picture grabs my attention and I particularly like the way the color is stronger on the right-hand side of the photo -the red leaves- and grows less intense as you look across the frame to the left.

Beautiful DOF & colors. Love the small soft pops of purple in the background. Very nicely done.

It is still a good capture of teen body language. Appreciate that you went for it regardless of available light. I would appreciate it if you would look at my submitted photos and critique any/all. I am on this site for feedback to grow as a photographer and I feel stuck. Honest, candid critiques would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance~

The body language of the girls is well captured. I am not sure if I like the 'shakiness, but perhaps you did it for a reason.
  23. I like the composition, the story, DOF in the photo and the colors. I don't know if you could have captured her reflection in her mirror, since this is a street shot, but it would elevate the picture. Still a fun shot- thanks for sharing.

I like the graphic feeling in this photo, the depth of field and the background. Thank you for submitting it.
  25. I like his eye contact with the camera/photographer, the viewer is drawing into the picture. I think it might be improved by cropping out the bottom portion. Crop from the blue object down. Thank you for sharing.
