    My brother.

I was just taking up photography when I took this and I was influenced by the Beatle's latest album at the time.

    Street 2

I like that you got the "high five"/fist bump between the woman in the doorway and the stiltwalker as well as a reaction from a woman on the street. Fun street shot- thanks for sharing.

    Holi India

I admire your decision to be in a special location that is not ruined by tourism. It makes the picture even more special for me.

    Dracula.s bride

Hi JJohn, The best you can do in this type of situation (street) is what you did- depth of field for less distraction. Nice job.

    Holi India

This is a wonderful street shot. I love the colors on his face, his expression and the person softly in the background with the orange face. This might have even more impact if the left and right sides were cropped....but, honestly, I am not sure because I like it the way it is, too. Thanks so much for sharing.

    Temple in India

So nice that you caught her looking at the camera. Nice depth of field. Beautiful picture.

    Dracula.s bride

Hi John, Not sure if my comment went through so... this pic caught my eye with its edgy bridal subject (one of my favorite things to shoot). I am thinking this was a street shot and that you had no control of the background (car). I like her movement, her hand lifting the dress, the black veil echoing her arm position and echoing the flow of her dress. I think her expression is perfect for a vampire's bride.

    Gonna be a rockstar

Hi, His expression is great and I like how you have had him pose. I think placing him against a less distracting background would improve the shot. Thanks for sharing. I would appreciate your providing critiques to my submitted photos, too.

    La Salve

I love the colors you captured and the small figure on the right who just happens to be wearing a blue jacket to match the left side of the shot.

    Your Turn

Hi, I like the depth of field and the general composition but I would remove the hat from the man in the background. It just feels like the wrong type of hat for the shot. Thank you for submitting it and asking for a critique. I invite you to look at my photos and provide me with your feedback and critiques, too.

    Julie's Eyes

    I used softener in edit.
  16. I love that I captured her expression. It says everything about how she feels about him.
  17. I personally do like that the background is completely washed out but I am curious as to how others feel about this picture. What do you think of her eyes, her hair, etc? I really would appreciate constructive criticism to help me to grow as a photograp

    Les Parapluies 2

Lovely composition-great the way the eye is drawn from across the top down to the bottom third side of the picture-, beautiful colors, good exposure. Very nice capture!

    Checking in.

I loved the background of artwork behind this couple and her red hair just gave it extra 'pop'.
  20. Thanks for your info. I have 2 Nikons (D80 & D70) and I am looking for a cell phone to take "snap shots" but I am very impressed with the Iphone 11 Pro Max. Your comments are helpful.
