A great limousine on this one, positioned strangely, but, the photographer is also kind of strange and it fits! Congratulations, mon cher ami! PDE

Pierre...This rare car was at the local service station for some badly needed maintenance and parked stangely as you note and looking a little unclad as it was without its wheel covers. On the other hand, mon ami,I don't think the photographer is so strange....but that is purely a personal opinion....ha!Salutations-Laurent

Hello, your photo brought a smile to my face today but, probably not in a way that you might expect. First of all, very interesting car, thank you for sharing the photo and the info on it. I have never seen this model before. The way the back of the car is parked- with the trunk way over the barrier reminded me of so many people where I live. In my town, they tend to park the front of their cars WAY over the barrier and they block the side walk so that pedestrians cannot use the sidewalk. It made me smile to see this 'parking' version and reminds me that we are all so similar!

Hi Gail...I am always delighted whenever any of my images stirrs a reply and yours is indeed for a unique reason. With the design of today's cars, some with large overhangs, traditionnal design of sideways can lead to sad situations as you state. What you see here is however somewhat different as in this, our rural area there are no sidewalks and the concrete curb you see here is a safety barrier to keep cars from going over the slope beyond paved parking area.Exagerating the already long rear overhang of this 1978 is the added ''Continental Kit''which would totally block off any sidewalk in your town.Again,I thank you for visiting this image and mostly for taking the time to share your observation.Hope you and yours are keeping safe in these trying COVID times.Merci et salutations-Laurent
