It certainly depicts an unfamiliar side of life. The foreground cross overlapping helps the sense of finality.

I like the composition- to leave open space on the right balances the details on the left. If the viewer will look at the whole photo carefully they will notice interest points are placed by the rule of thirds.
Well done!

This is a double exposure of a lady in front of a mirror.

This is an effective use of the Holga. Heavy shadow, small DOF, etc. It works well together.

Personally, I enjoy photos with interesting texture and color. I'd suggest losing the title and shrinking the black border. It's too bold for an image like this. Let the photo speak for itself. Now, on to your portfolio...

This is a beautiful shot. I occasionally shoot IR digitally with my Dimage7. It needs no modifications, only a deep red or black filter.

nice cropping, color, detail. The title really works as well. Great shot!

The difference between shapes and texture work well. Composition has a lot to offer. You could even crop various sections to make other photos. Blue background clarifies the frost. It looks like you had fun capturing this.

The sharpening on the building does make it seem a little disconnected. Compositionally, the image has strength. There seems to be a hidden connection between the platform and building. Overall, I like it. BTW- nice portfolio.

The blue eye needs a bit of desaturation. I visited the photo because of the expression and composition. The eye is already the center of attention without being colored. It's a nice shot.

I like the shot- to deScarify it you could dodge the dark areas under the eyes. The cropping forms an effective triangular compostition. Because the subject is your daughter, the reflection of you in her eyes isn't bothering me. This may be the inspiration behind the title. Overall, a very nice image and well chosen POW.

portfolio best-so far

We can count on you to post captivating images. Nice color, interesting subject.

I like the shot- it's dynamic and vibrant. A little PS here and there wouldn't hurt. It might not even be necessary. It's really your call. Posting the additional shots of the event has been appreciated- perhaps you could create a panorama using the same rider. In the future (next week) it wouldn't hurt for the POW to have an opportunity to clean up their posting.
We all need to eat a little dirt now and then to get shots like these.

Hello neighbor- this is my favorite shot so far.

Simplicity at it's best. Clean and engaging composition.

I like the tonality and simplistic shapes- it has underspoken elegance...

Striking portfolio- an excellent capture here. Great color and clarity!

Powerful image, leave the color.

It reminds me of Rysard Horowitz work- dynamic

I'm looking for a few suggestions to either improve this shot or try
something different next time.
