The current cropping retains the sky and balances the composition in vertical 3rds. You might do better to move the flowers either left or right of center- overall, it's a nice tranquil image.

I like the composition- to leave open space on the right balances the details on the left. If the viewer will look at the whole photo carefully they will notice interest points are placed by the rule of thirds.

    Well done!

  1. Personally, I enjoy photos with interesting texture and color. I'd suggest losing the title and shrinking the black border. It's too bold for an image like this. Let the photo speak for itself. Now, on to your portfolio...

The difference between shapes and texture work well. Composition has a lot to offer. You could even crop various sections to make other photos. Blue background clarifies the frost. It looks like you had fun capturing this.
  2. The sharpening on the building does make it seem a little disconnected. Compositionally, the image has strength. There seems to be a hidden connection between the platform and building. Overall, I like it. BTW- nice portfolio.

    What's up?

The blue eye needs a bit of desaturation. I visited the photo because of the expression and composition. The eye is already the center of attention without being colored. It's a nice shot.

I like the shot- to deScarify it you could dodge the dark areas under the eyes. The cropping forms an effective triangular compostition. Because the subject is your daughter, the reflection of you in her eyes isn't bothering me. This may be the inspiration behind the title. Overall, a very nice image and well chosen POW.
  3. I like the shot- it's dynamic and vibrant. A little PS here and there wouldn't hurt. It might not even be necessary. It's really your call. Posting the additional shots of the event has been appreciated- perhaps you could create a panorama using the same rider. In the future (next week) it wouldn't hurt for the POW to have an opportunity to clean up their posting.

We all need to eat a little dirt now and then to get shots like these.
