Emmanuel, the grain was intentional and was added. The original didn't have any grain. It was added for effect. It could be easily removed for a different look.

Kim, this is one of my favorite photos of yours. It reminds me of my when I would visit my grandparents. They had an old painting in their home of some horses that looked very similar to this photo. Good job!

Well, I'm back - finally!

I got this effect by using a very slow Canon G2 and moving the camera in front of the Christmas tree.

Double 7's, this photo is spectacular! My dream is to have a photo of this caliber in my porfolio someday. Beyond excellent, thanks for sharing.
