Yes Kim, this is an HDR photo consisting of 5 photographs (exposure -2,-1,0,1,2). I'm having a blast playing around with Photomatix. By the way I'm finished with your tutorial DVD. I'll drop it by your house this week. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks!

Comments are very welcome!

That was a great photo also!

Where and when did you run into these two? How far away were they?
-
This picture is so clear. I don't see any noise, even though it was shot at ISO 640. Your 5D does a very nice job at that ISO setting. I could never get away with this with my camera. I rarely venture past ISO300. Again, what a wonderful photo.

Kim, this is definitely a "prize winner" - very well done!

Lovely photograph!

Very soothing, and great reflections. The red leaves are beautiful indeed, but don't let their beauty lure you too close. I'm quite certain that they are poison ivy.
-
Eric - Thanks for the correction. I changed the name of the photo.
-
Thanks for looking!

This is a very beautiful photo! I love the speed on the water. I'm still trying to master water shots. I can't wait to try the filters (as you suggested), and slow the water down a bit.
-
Very nice lighting! This should be made into a postcard.

Those clouds are incredible! I have never seen clouds configured this way. Great capture. What is this shape called, thought bubble, or talk bubble? I've seen it all now.
-
If I am not mistaken, I think this is either a Greater Yellowlegs, or a Lesser Yellowlegs, not sure which. The Greaters have 14" legs, and the Lessers have 10" legs. Don't you just love bird names?
-
Kim, I was in full camo, and sitting in a camoflauge chair. This bird flew straight towards me, veering neither to the left, nor to the right, as I happily snapped away.
-
This photo was taken at the Ouray Bird Refuge on the far West end. I was surprised to see them. By the way, not one mosquito sighting all day.
-
Yes, these birds are truly magnificent!
-
If I remember correctly, I was about 100' away from this little guy.
-
Thanks Kim - It doesn't look like it much, but this is a 4 image HDR photo.
-
Thanks Kim for your encouraging comments!

Thanks for looking.
