Furry Friend

How cute! I love the pose and detail in his fur. What kind is this? Is this the same kind that are running all over in the high timber?

By the way, about noise...the 5D is so much better on that issue than my Rebel...the moose photos were taken with the Rebel at ISO 800, and I finally gave up and bought Noise Ninja online to deal with the noise issues. I find that I'm taking a lot of critter photos at 800 to get enough light and speed, so I think I'm going to need it enough to justify it. I usually have the 100-400 on the Rebel and the 24-105 on the 5D, but maybe I need to try the bigger lens on the 5D just for the noise issue, to see how much better it is. I like it on the rebel because it has the extra reach and is lighter weight to hold up. Hmm. So many decisions...:)
