Hi Tony, thanks for your kind comment. You have done very well on the exposure of this yellow flower that is so easily gets blown out. As for the DOF I think it is just personal taste or distractions in the background that needs to be blurred. Thanks for having a look and leaving me your thoughts. Regards Robert.

Nice shot Ray. The bird seems peeping at you :). Good to see the egret has just caught a fish. Well managed exposure on the white feathers. Nice background without any distraction and helps to stand out the bird. It is not 100% perfect is that the part of the bird's head is blocked. I do like the splash behind the feet though. Very beautiful red bird. Nice green background helps to make the bird stand out. I might crop off some of the right to move the bird more away from center. Regards Robert.

Very good idea and excellent lighting too. Would like to see more of the stem of the lower flower and a bit more of sharpness. Also feel the yellow frame a bit bright that draws my attention. The black background is very nice though. Good work as usual. Regards Robert.
