Hi David, very good flower picture you have here. Good sharpness and nice dark background helping the flower to stand out. Composition is also good with the flower coming out from a corner, but I might have moved the camera up a bit for making this shot so that the picture shows just a little of the stem while there will be more of space above the flower. Very nice flower picture. Good to see the main flower is in perfect shape and comes out from a corner. Pleasing blurred background too. For me, the other flowers are not helping but distracting. Also a bit too much noise when viewing large.

Beautiful flower you have here Marian. Like the color combination of the flower, dark blue stamens and light blue petals. I like also the shape of the stamens. Since some of the petals are cut, I might crop tighter, with only the center of the flower. Not sure you like that as well.
