<p>I develop black and white film in my bathroom. You might think it's complicated, you might be convinced of being imminently overwhelmed - fear not. It is a surprisingly simple process. I'm in the UK and I've not found any shop developing film even remotely as cheaply as it is done in the US, so I do it at home. Can't help you out with scanning or anything of that nature though.</p>

<p>You should've said that it was actually a disguised hammer, and you were going to be using it to commit the perfect crime - that is, to take a picture of a murder you had just committed and sell it to the press and not tell them your name and scratch off your face and your DNA so they'd never know it was you even though the police were there in the room when you handed over the film with the picture on it and you were sorry you didn't water the flowers because you were in the prison<br>

<p>I shoot almost entirely in B/W, film and digital. This makes it easy to shoot at 3200, even on a Nikon D40, because I think grain or noise in colour is horrible, but in B/W? Looks good</p>

<p>Well there's a Nikon D40 in my bag, which I rarely use, and never carry around with the back. In fact it may as well sit in a cupboard without a bag. The camera I use regularly doesn't even have a strap</p>
