1.
In an ad on a local online site there is a Canon Digital Rebel 300D in an all black body. I had one of the originals when they first came out, it had a mostly silver colored body. Curious about the black body, thinking at first it might be an import, but the "Rebel" name is clearly on the bottom of the front. From what I understand, the Rebel name was only used in North America. Anyone have any info on this?

Thanks!

 2.
I recently acquired an E-520 mostly out of curiosity, as I've been using Canons for about 50 years. As suggested, on page 51 of the manual it says auto ISO cannot be set when using Manual.

 3.
Thanks for the replies, that was I was assuming I would need to do. Guess I've been spoiled by Canon. I'll give it a try!

 4.
I recently acquired a Kenko Pinhole Lens 02. It came with an adapter to mount on my D80. How can I get the shutter to fire? Any mode I try all I get in the viewfinder is blinking lights. It will fire in Manual, but there would be no meter reading.

I also use Canon gear, and to use non Canon lenses all I need to do is select Aperture priority and the camera will select the shutter speed. Apparently this does nor work with Nikon.

I do have the D80 manual, but don't know where to look re shooting with a non Nikon lens.

Can anyone give me a suggestion please?

Thanks!

 5.
Thanks for the replies, but still not what I'm looking for. The ad shows a side view of the mount, clearly marked "M2 Nikon Japan", so is probably an extension tube. As I suggested, to move the Kenko pinhole further from the film plane.
I've done pinhole photography in the past, including using a body cap with an etched pinhole in stainless steel, and having a "co lens" mounted in front, which sharpened the image greatly; I sold that off some time ago. I mostly want to know about the quality of the Kenko pinhole attachment and if the M2 will work on my D80.
The seller only wants $40 for the F50, extension tube and the Kenko. But if the Kenko will only produce fuzzy photos, I am not interested.

 6.
I see a Kenko Pinhole lens 02 on Nikon M2 mount listed on a local online selling forum. I did a Google search on the Kenko, could not find much - looking for info on what type of photo it might produce, soft and grainy as in some sample photos or sharper?

Not sure of the Nikon M2 mount, this appears to be an extension tube, and assume its to make the pinhole image larger on the film. The gear is being sold with a Nikon F50, which I don't have a use for.

Will the Nikon M2 mount work on my Nikon D80?

Just thinking of using the Kenko and maybe the mount to take close up photos of my model railroad gear.

Thanks!

 7.
Many years ago a cargo ship was washed up on a local breakwater during a storm. I was there with my work with the Canadian Coast Guard, and had my personal camera with me. Took some photos, developed the negs and made a few enlargements after supper and delivered them to the local paper that evening. I was quite pleased to see one of my photos on the front page the next day, about 14" high. No credit though, as that was their policy in the day. Picked up the enlargements a day or so later, along with payment for use of my photo - all of $5.00! Would have rather had the credit, but had to be satisfied with seeing my work in print.

 8.
Canon A-1's had a double exposure feature, a lever next to one of the top knobs that when moved only the shutter would be cocked. Used it a few times in my film days.

 9.
I've seen similar LCD hoods on eBay for under $10.00.
