I've got to agree with Mike here David, but then maybe I spend too much time watching the Investigative Discovery channel. This shot just has that strong sense of mystery and maybe it is because of the light or not knowing what is ahead in the thick of all those trees... I can also see how one would view this as welcoming, a sense of shelter offered by the limbs of that gorgeous tree... Lovely capture no matter what feeling one gets from viewing. Thank you for sharing. :)

Very beautiful work! I love the simplicity of this image because it brings to attention the complexity with which birds build their nests out of the simplest things at hand in nature. This photo is an inspiration to me to finally photograph some of the nests I have kept from visiting wildlife in my yard. Lovely work! One of my favorites! Thank you for sharing. :)

VON and BORUT, Thank you so much for your kind comments! I am happy you like this photo of Chewey! He is really fun to photograph because he is so mellow and cooperative. Some of my cats are too curious when they see a camera and want to get right up in the lens, while others run away or turn away, but Chewey is one that lets me just do my thing. He is very zen in that way. Thank you again for taking the time to leave your comments and share your thoughts! :)

GAIL and BERUT, Thank you both for your kind comments and I am happy you like this photo of Baby. Gail, I'm really pleased this photo brought back happy memories of your cat. When we lose our precious little ones, we can still hold on to them through our memories and that keeps them near us in spirit and heart. Thank you both for taking the time to share your thoughts with me and leaving your comments. :)
