This is easily my favorite of the three. Not only is it more introspective--cats always seem to be engaged in deep thought!--but the elements work better to produce a more compelling image. Nice work, Trish.

Emmanuel, this photo is of my cat, Chewey, who by nature is very gentle and zen like. He is very intelligent and seeks out company of those who are also gentle souls, and yes, he is definately very introspective. I often think if he were human, he would be a monk! He is also the father of Walker.

LOL... Usually I have the same opinion as JeffS, but I have to admit that, even as a dog person, this is a superb cat portrait.  There's something so mysterious about cats and this image captures that perfectly... Beautiful treatment as well... Mike

Thank you so much for your kind comment; I appreciate it very much! I know what you mean about the cats in the yard as two of mine are outdoor cats. Certain spots are okay with me and for the spots I don't want them near I have planted lavender as it is a natural deterrent; for some reason, cats don't like the fragrance of lavender. Now, if only I could find out what deters the possum! :O  Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with me! :)
