Really dark but really really good. :)

As we were driving next to a construction site, I asked my friend to
look outside, thinking this was a good background. Thanks for your
ratings and comments.

Yes, yes, a great image. The clouds, the sheeps, the sky through the church. A great composition. Excellent, I love it. Thanks for sharing.

Kids photography is hell... :p Especially hand held at 1/8th. But
once in a while, they just stop moving and give you a great look.
Thanks for your rating and comments.

Hi Sebastien, thank you for your comment. Indeed, I wonder the same thing about not having the kid in the center of the photo. I remember I did this on purpose when taking this shot, because I was interested in having a somewhat equal amount of steps and water in my composition, thus putting the kid in the middle. I did not take another shot with a different composition though.
Thanks!

Shot taken during a festival day. Thanks for your ratings and
comments.

A great 'humanist' picture .The composition, the light, the mood. There is everything there. Congratulation! 7/7...

I saw it coming, I had only one chance getting it in the box. Any
comments and ratings welcome. Thanks.

I really like it. It shows very well the diversity of people in New York, each character has its own attitude and they 'fill' the frame very nicely. Very good composition.

After a long hike, I got to this point of view... Comments and
ratings are welcome. Thanks!

I thought her cap and the background fitted well together. I tried to
frame correctly. Any comments welcome...

Yes, disgraceful was a little strong. I meant disturbing. Well, you get the point. :)

Very nice shot of a cluttered buildings. I like the colors and the variety of shapes. But the dark building makes a disgraceful black triangle in the frame.
Happy shooting!

Yes, I found the "dead tree" pictures to be the most decieving of my shots. I see the idea in this one. Nice try I would say... but try it again! :P Maybe you have tried to put too many things in this one; the drift wood, the river, the bridge, the sky... the result being a picture of drift wood, nothing more. As I said, I have a lot of shots like this myself and I am always disappointed. Is abstraction the answer for dead wood?
Happy Shooting!

It nails me... ooops, maybe I should not joke like this, sorry. :p
The background is the only thing that bugs me, it is too 'empty'. I could see the same 'scene' in the middle of other religious object for instance, just as if Jesus falling off his cross would be an accident in the display of the objects. I am not sure I am very clear... lets say, add other things so there is a little story we could imagine.

This Sumo club was training at an outdor dojo near a beach... First
time I could see sumo wrestling live. Great technique!
Thanks for your comments and ratings.

I rated A.4 and O.4. I think it would have been better with more red in the sky. On this shot, I think the color is so-so. Usually, such a cloudy sky makes wonderful sky, but maybe it just did not happened on this day.
