1.
I've taken it in to the local Epson rep where I currently am (dubai) - They said the print-head needs replacing and will cost the equivalent of $1,400 - I've had the printer for about 5/6 years now. I'm guessing it would make more sense to get a totally new printer rather than replace the head. Thoughts? What is the best printer on the market at the moment for high end photographic prints?

 2.
Any thoughts on the Sony A7r or A7s for wedding and theatre photography?
I have a nikon D700 that i use for my portrait work. Now going into weddings and theatre .. I'm literally broken after a job. Especially a full day on a wedding. With the various heavy lenses.
I really need a lighter but high quality camera .. and looking into the Sony.
Feedback?

 3.
I'm recently going into wedding photography and have done a few jobs so far - Satisfied with the results. I shoot using my Nikon D700, high ISO, no flash ... available light and the results are quite stunning.
There have been times where I felt I needed that extra stop, or a touch of flash for a steady image.
I've dug out my Nikon SB-800 but have actually never worked with on-camera flash.
I have a wedding to shoot tomorrow that I intend to shoot as I always have .. no flash, high iso. But would like to know what settings i can have my flash ready at in order to merely give me a very subtle extra touch of light. I'd like to maintain the feeling the natural light gives me in those images but want to add a very soft, subtle light to make the images more crisp without affecting highlights or shadows from the enviorment.
Can someone let me know what a safe setting is for that? I tend to set my ISO, spot metering and Aperture priority. How can i add this every so subtle touch of light? and should i pull out the reflective white card and keep the flash at an angle?

Thank you

 4.
I've tried running a nozzle check and status sheet .. the first few times i loaded the paper it came out the other end immediately. Once it went through properly ... it came out blank as well.
Does low ink do this? Or would i still be able to run such checks with one cartridge at low ink?

I'm trying to establish whether the problem is the low ink cartridge or a larger issue? I'm assuming it would still give me some results even with Low Ink flashing. no?
