This photo is in my opinion the success of "ennobling process" which resembles pictorial approach to make art of photography. I do not agree however with “suggestion and mystery” which conveys the title. Body language of men tells us: no hope we are killing time.

So what? No impressions

This is not ominous but messy presence. This soldier should sit behind the bars and wait until his sergeant will arrive.

Photo on an old paper, processed in exhausted solutions and not rinsed properly is not impressive. So is a dog without a head. Eye cannot rest on anything which is sharp. Christian Andersen would say that the king is naked.

The left hand pushes away something which resembles Turin cloth and the man presents Muslim prayer device in the front. The ring is attribute of the man who has capability to issue documents - his position is above average. This is my guess what could be hidden behind this peculiar composition.

I wonder what is the difference between port folio poker and kimono or in particular the quantum portfolio which contains no images. There is no difference. Neolithic painting carries ideas – in the first place idea of hunting or killing. It is strange but abstract thinking is obvious there. Here we have no ideas. Author will stop and look at the crack in the sidewalk stone and maybe make a photo which will have the title nirvana. There is a direct link to the temporary emotional state of author. Traces of emotions the author leaves behind are clear.

The cage is the only world animal knows, so the prisoner mood which photo carries is IMO a false interpretation. For me monkey looks mindless

Un momentino I suppose in the first place. Something informal is in this noun, so this is not a drama but a phenomenon captured in the split second which otherwise would be missed. If so, it is a photo which nothing can substitute.

The girl is aiming at someting te man looks at, but her eyes are focused on camera. The plot is not well constructed and impression arises that figures are pasted from different shots. The mans face is interesting and I cannot quess his mood. The girl wants to shoot at something poet thinks of but wants to compose herself well as an actress before the mirror. The couple is not well matched indeed.

Birds do it, bees do it, even educated pleased do it, so please go out and play. The photo is about activity that has no purpose, which is the great phenomenon in nature. Moreover I learned that ocean works IN this photo, splashes work FOR this photo and I expected that something will not work for ME.

If the photo would be cropped from the left and right side the toxic relation between child and man would be stressed. The audience attention is pulled aside in the original frame and adds the wedding context. I found the illumination of the girls face overdone. General impression is very good.

The painted veil immitates snow and the man immitates anger. What is the purpose of this illusion?

I think that orientation of frame should be portrait not landscape. In present arrangement women is somehow pressed to the earth. I feel that she can breath freely and is happy may be.

The atmosphere of Pere Lachais has little in common with brutality of modern wars and with caption of this photo. In 19th century the target was dressed in uniform. So I visit Chopin there and sorry but I do not think about Iraq.

Photo is OK, but using men statue as far as I know is not consistent with Muslim culture (in relation to rite - for instance funeral). I wonder where the scene was captured.

Bench attracts photographers. I think that the time passing is frozen in unused bench which was used, and will be used again. The bench chosen for this particular POW lacks this feature and the photo is rather empty.

This is excellent cover page for Knut Hamsun novel, Usualy Munch picture is used for this purpose. Bożena work is much better (for cover page). I am really impressed. BTW only Alex caught the idea so far.

There is an atmosphere of decadency here. The year ends and the land ends. Land is cultivated but roofs collapse. There are new silos however. The plot I feel is: it is not not necessary to live here to get profit out of crop or the profit is to small to care much. The scene is well lit and beautiful.

If the rain drop falls down at 7m/s this photo was taken at 1/10s. Tree branches cannot be sharp in these circumstances. I feel that storm is artificial.

Pls let children go out and play. This is one of many photos presented in this forum with a child as a model. All of them do not taste well.

I see mother forcing child to burp. It is not stagged scene and it is no kiss of love but it is a perfect photo

I see fingers and the right jawbone lit in a strange way. Is it studio light?

Do these trees stand in water? No single stem of grass is protruding above the surface? This is like the theatre decoration. The green veils are hanging around. Is it poisonous chlorine atmosphere? The second and the fourth tree from the right is lit from the opposite side than sun rays come - I can not figure what is the light source. I do not like this arranged scene at all.
