hi amr and Jairo. thanks very much for your comments. i really like the lines in this image and how they work together. I took other shots of this spot but none of them worked as well without the running person. I think the position of the runner in the image also helps make it visually more interesting.

thanks for any comments. i am reviewing some of my old photos.

Hi Fred. Thanks for your comment on this image. I thought your opinion on the use of text was good. I much prefer the idea of subtlety over sledgehammer in most instances.
Thanks also for leaving your comments on my b&w dog folder. I try to approach my dog photography from a different perspective than most, so your comments are appreciated. Cheers Karen.

Hi Xavier. I do like this shot. I would love to know a bit more about it. thanks Karen

Hi Denis.I like a lot of things about this shot but I would enjoy it more with less vignette. thanks

Hi Kat. When you are framing the shot, try not cut off legs etc. You captured a nice expression, and well done for getting this little one to lie still.

HAH! Nice shot of Amber, Scott. See what you mean about her tongue. Winston's still got time to develop his own 'signature' look.

Hi Scott. What do you want to clone Amber out for? I don't think it would work as well without her in the background. It might have worked better if she moved a little to the left so there was a bit of a gap between them. I quite like the visual link of those two pink tongues. thanks Scott.

Hi Josu. I like this image. I like the landscape in the background and hues. I would prefer to see all the feet too. I also want to tweak the white balance. the dog looks a little too blue to me. thanks Josu.

Hi Ilia. You'd be right, it is a Eucalypt.

I framed this section of a tree to create some abstract shapes which I
felt was enhanced by the skin-like quality of its trunk. the leaves and
their shadows reminded me of hair.

Thanks Jack and Carlo. I am happy you like the shot.

Thanks Carlo, Mike, Art and David. This little man might not have distinguished good looks but he oozes personality. He makes me laugh and he doesn't mind a camera being shoved in his face either. When I composed this shot I wanted to use the frame to put the focus on the shape and expression of his face and those little leggies.

Thankyou Maurizio and Art for having a look and leaving your very kind comments.
