The texture of the foliage softens this abandoned building. A compelling, mysterious capture.

Watercolor-like. Striking light! Memorable!

Superb detail -- the fluid points of light, the lighted flower-fruit, the platform texture. Beautiful!!

A Kodak door!! The red door "pops!"

The sky feels like a celebration, a hope, in this shadowing high-rise cave. Well done!

Jacob, Love this photo of Lassen NP, one of my favorite places. Sweet photo! I hope to see more of your current work.

Nice juxtaposition of softly blurred water, and detailed shoreline / trees.

Hi Jacob, Love the action on your wave photo. And you didn't title it, which leaves it all to the image. Keepin' it simple. Good job.

What catches my eye first are the yellow flowers in a simple white vase. Next, I'm drawn to the two rounds of bread -- rich textures. The light table edge provides a strong leading line, and with your angled placement, it pulls my eye into the scene. I want to sit down on a stool, have a cup of coffee, and enjoy the history of this room. A nicely balanced photo -- the more I look at it, the more I like it.

What I like about your photo are the bold lines: the float & reflection, the rope & shadow, the white line along the fuselage, the wing & strut. The red is also enhanced by the background blues, and contrasting white floats -- having a patriotic feel, without being intentional.

I like the simple abstractness of the soft-focus colors.

Nice composition. I like the contrast of the braided meandering of this gray glacial river, combined with the explosion of autumn colors. The color variations in the opposite hillside create an interesting texture in the backdrop of this striking photo.

The cascading waters are like creamy threads of light, very compelling and mysterious in the twilight. Beautiful image.

The sharpness in the shadows adds nice texture, particularly in the lower part of the photo.

This photo is so stunning, intense, and wild!! Your photography inspires me. Ever since I got my first digital camera last summer (July 2007), I feel as if I have rediscovered photography (after 34 years of shooting). Even your bio is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your work.
