Hello All,

I absolutely love photography, and am currently working for a big box retailer, and drastically want a

career change. I have a modicum of experience with this wonderful work, but could not be more entranced. I have

been looking around South East Florida (West Palm, Ft. Lauderdale, and in between) area for someone who would

be willing to offer their education. I have been unable to get anywhere with my search, and am wondering if…

1. There is anyone on here from the area that would be interested in seeing my work, and hearing my proposal?

2. If you are not from the area, do you have any ideas on what I could do to gain the exposure and experience to

satisfy my hunger for knowledge?

My current position pays me well, so money upfront is not an issue. I am more interested in learning how to be a

better photographer, who could one day take it somewhere.

Now I feel silly. I never went into D.V.P. to even see that option I just assumed it was under "Select Wallpaper" option.

Hey Guys,

The other day I was messing around with my menu options and noticed that...Hey you can put wallpaper on your

LCD Screen. So I put one on there that I dont like, and makes it hard to read the information. NOW I can not remove

it and after searching my manual, and searching here and online I can not find out how to take it off. I can put another

pic overtop of it but I do not want it on there.

Anyone have the answer to remove it?

Hello all,

I have seen several other post that dance around my question and nothing that answers what I am looking for

specifically. So, I shoot a D40 and am looking for something more than the DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f4-5.6G ED

that I have now. I am looking for versatility, but with better telephoto capabilities. The local Camera shop here

suggested the 70-300VR ED. I have seen positive and negative reviews here. I have shot it a little I like it so I may get

that but am looking for other suggestions. I also am concerned that this lens may not transfer to a newer body if I

choose to upgrade later. Thoughts?
