We both have babies in common...baby animals, that is!! This is so wonderful. I've never seen anything quite like it, with the little fellow just standing up. Perfect capture! And thank you so much for your enthusiastic and warm comments on my "Three Goosekateers" image!
Best, Nancy

Very dramatic treatment, Ray, and effective! Nicely titled, as well. Good to hear from you! Thanks so much for the great comments you made on my spring woods image. Yes, it's been a wonderful spring. Spent the long weekend (ours is one week earlier than yours) in Pt. Pelee park, practicing mostly with birds as it's an important migration stop for them.
Take care & have a great weekend,
Nance

At Point Pelee National Park on the shores of Lake Erie, the spring
woods are filled with the true blue shades of Woodland Phlox and Wild

I love St. Jacobs and the environs. The village is one of my favourite places to be, although it's become a bit commercialized. However, you've captured yet another perfect snapshot of Mennonite life, and with your trademark treatment, it appears to be from another age. Very painterly, love the tree branches.
I've missed you, too! I did indeed have a great time in Pelee--I used to go there to catch migration every spring (and sometimes fall, too) and it was so nice to be back. The warblers haven't gotten any easier to photograph, though!
Cheers,
Nancy

What a beautiful expression of your love and devotion, Lawrence! If only the rest of us were as fortunate...
Tony, Gail and the others said it so well, I can only echo their words--I second that emotion. And what a beautiful little corner of the world you've shared with us here! I feel privileged to know you.
Your friend,
Nancy
