This is a gift to my wife, Melinda. My love, my life, my soul mate.

Without her I would be lost. Thank you, babe!

The image stands on it own as something beautiful and somewhat contradictory (positive element) to see all of those neat rows of tulips in juxtaposition with the run down building. The colors are very natural. Very well done and Congrats.

What a public declaration of love for your wife! Most men can't bring themselves to do what you did. Kudos! Hope all is well and if all is well, that things will be even better.(*_*)

Lovely shot Lawrence...beautiful colors, love the tulips.......and especially love your 'Declaration of Love' to your wife.......too many of us would love to hear the same....not all men have the 'ka-hooneys' to share such loving words...if they only knew how much of a 'man' it makes them, compared to 'shop talk with the guys'.....your sensitivity is to be commended....a very fortunate woman......and you as you have already 'declared' are a very fortunate man......'soul mates' are hard to find these days....congrats, Gail

Lawrence, I love this shot! Not only for the deeply felt emotion that it symbolizes so well, but also for the technical aspects of balanced light and exposure so that the distant shadows have discernible details and the highlight of the band of yellow flowers adds that little extra something.

I raise my glass to you and toast you and your wife!

What a beautiful expression of your love and devotion, Lawrence! If only the rest of us were as fortunate...

Tony, Gail and the others said it so well, I can only echo their words--I second that emotion. And what a beautiful little corner of the world you've shared with us here! I feel privileged to know you.

Your friend,

Nancy
