    Good color balance and asthetics. It is difficult to shoot seascapes with the sun directly in front of you. It appears you adjusted for this. Good work. Mike

    Very nice Melina, I like everything about the image. The contrast in colors between the lead tulip and the background blossoms is nice. Good rich colors, too. High marks from me. One of your best. Mike

    I like your composition. The colors are good, too. Focus on the lead tulip could be a bit better. A bit more DOF would have helped the lead blossom. Asthetics are good, too.

    These blossoms are from a 100+ year old heirloom lilac in Seattle. This

    15 foot high plant will soon come under a condo developer's bulldozer.

    Yellow is a very difficult color to capture correctly in bright sun, especially in flowers. I have found that underexposing by one F-stop helps to bring out a balanced yellow as does using as much backlighting as possible.. Non the less, this is a nice image. Mike
