I seem to connect pretty well with brides. Its funny because I can be pretty uncompromising about what I think looks best and I stand up to Moms, and maids of honor to get the shots I want. Usually the brides get it that I am really standing up for them because I am totally focused on making them look great. My photography isn't about MY style or MY technique its about making people look their best because that is the kind thing to do. Thanks for the compliment. A friend was telling me last week that often in your career you realize that what you thought your job was about was wrong and that it is really about something else that you are just learning. So portrait photography is really about being compassionate and I am starting to learn that, I hope.

The grooms pose looks very comfortable and natural, The bride on the other hand doesn't look quite at ease. I would turn her to the side a but more and turn the bouquet so the tops of the flowers are pointed at camera. I often ask a bride to put one hand on her hip or something like that to give her pose a more assertive feel. The depth of field is nice and focuses my attention on the Bride. I do a shot very similar to this in almost every church aisle I visit. I even do a version as a half length that is usually works well. Nice work:-)

Nice arrangement and depth of field. Great spark on the rock!

Of the two mirror shots I like this one the most. The Brides expression and body language shows a lot of personality. In the other shot they are both in the mirrors, but there is something I like about her being seen directly. The idea is more interesting to me with only one person in the mirror. I don't know why:-/

I kind of think you dropped the couple into this background in photoshop. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but the lighting leads me in that direction.

This s a precious portrait and even more special with the context provided by the background. Are you bouncing a flash to get the light on the girls face? If so you have really got your bounce technique down pat.

It has a Martha Stewart magazine look to it in a good way. It would be interesting to see if one could do all the details for a particular wedding in a geometric, bright background fashion like this. I think you see a lot of details like this in magazines because they led themselves to layouts. As for the grooms ring, just take a second exposure with his in focus and hers out. They would be lovely side by side in the album.

Very cool, I've never seen one like it so I can tell you keep your eyes open for unique opportunities. You also did a nice job of creating the lighting for this.. a rare skill..
