I do not have a camera requiring the XQD cards, however, because of my curiosity, I just checked if any XQD cards are available in Vietnam, but only Sony is available in one of the bigger nationwide shops:
32GB usd 118
64GB usd 153
64GB G usd 219
128GB usd 241
256GB ask for price
These cards are so new, that it is unlikely, that fake ones are in circulation in Asia yet -:)

Somebody just misused my credit card 2 weeks ago for which reason I have closed it and requested a new, and I have therefore not been able to renew my subscription today, however, as soon as I get a new card, I shall settle 2 years. Hope that is acceptable.

I had a Velbon for about 15 years and was very happy, but not so much any longer, as I lost it 6 months ago – probably during packing the car after a visit to an island by boat!
Only problem I had was the rubber on the handles got sticky in the heat in Vietnam. I wrote to their office in Japan, that they ought to make some product development to solve the problem, and 2 weeks later I received a full set of handles free of charge with a note that, they had solved the issue.

I used 17-35mm f/2.8 for indoor and landscape on my F90X and still use it with D700 and D810 - excellent lens

I have had exactly the same experience first time with a Tamron and was even more surprise, when it also appear on Nikon 1.4 and 2.0.
I do not know what it is, but they are all 3 functioning very well.

It seems the Sony G series 64GB XQD card has gone up in price by about 20% in the US stores since July when I got two of those in anticipation of getting the D850. In Finland the cards are >2x as expensive as in the US (even though I often buy lenses and cameras from local stores I don't buy memory cards from them because they're robbing the customer on such items, always have been).
Sony obviously apply the same price policy all over Scandinavia - 128gb is USD 400. The demand of the XQD must be big even it is a niche product, as you can find them 2nd hand on Ebay at B&H prices + 20% !!
