I have upgraded to D300 and have a very old SB-28, which I now intend to
replace with a SB-800.
However, I have found at least 5 different Speedlights of the SB-800, viz.
SB-800 AF
SB-800 i-TTL
SB-800 IR
SB-800 AF IR
+ some other description
but on Nikon's web-site I can only find SB-800 (and the 600/400).
Is there only ONE model, but the shops are defining their own description
of this product?

Hi Rene
In Vietnam they obviously only have ONE copy of the English version, which the shop then copy to the customer.
You can download it from: http://www.ebookspdf.com/gadget/2055/nikon-d300-users-manual/ - 448 pages only!

I did not get any Capture NX with my D300, but when opening the box at the shop it contained the Nikon Software Suite with Kodak EasyShare software only.
May be - or likely - the distributor in this country sell the Capture NX separately, I would not be surprised.

best backup camera for nikon d300

yes I know there has been many questions on this subject.
I am looking for a backup for my new D300, and which can use
the same accessories as the D300, viz. batteries, cards, lenses, remote equip.
(I am still using my MC-20 from my F90x without problems) etc., as it is far
too expensive and cumbersome to carry a photobag for each camera.
Are there somebody, who knows a link to such a statement of comparisons.
